The Class

MACA 1840 strongly focuses on user-centered design and goes in-depth about how businesses utilize their websites to actively and positively engage their users.

The Skills

During class you can strengthen and use your content strategy and design skills to assess, design, and properly apply user interactions to a variety of web pages.

The Goals

After this class, you will be able to make a thorough design plan, utilize a professional workflow, and both create and code an intermediate website that meets current trends.

Fluid Elements

A web page showcasing three Detroit locations that offer some awesome beverage options.

Whole Browser Design

A simple build for Yolks and Jokes that focuses on using flex to layout the web page's content and background images across the whole browser.

Web Layout Plan

This is a compilation of three web pages and their basic planning which includes content creation, wireframing, and rough page builds.

Responsive Design Plan

A compilation of everything used to design a responsive web page for Lift Off Gym that would be functional on various devices, such as a phone or tablet.

Responsive Artboards

This is the final design mock-up for Lift Off Gym and it demonstrates how the web page's content will shift around at each major breakpoint once it's built.

Web Field Manual

This build is a tribute to the official Web Field Manual site and features some of my favorite articles that pertain to the importance of animation in web design.
